I was invited to do a workshop for the Santa Barbara Fishing Club. So on 4/28/23 I drove to Santa Barbara, and we met at the harbor. We did some demonstration on the beach where I showed everyone how to rig a TX rig swimbait, and that it is the most weedless rig with the best hooksets, and when you use the Battlestar XLS hook with the right technique, it is also the most snagless swimbait in the surf. Then we went on the dock and we observed how the different configurations of hook weights + bullet weights sink differently. Then we went into a classroom for a detailed lecture on the Battlestar 115 Jerkbait and Battlestar XLS weighted swimbait hook. This was a lot of fun! It went great!
